Karis Sadler hosts WTGR’s informative call in show for Team Gaia Radio. This first installment focuses on sex education or the lack of in schools across the nation. She is joined by experts Frieda Saraga, Director of Health Education, and Lisa Clarson, Teen Coordinator of Planned Parenthood of Northeast Florida. They answer teens questions regarding everything from contraception to abstinence and the importance of safe sex.

Vote 2006 - Stem Cell Research
Missouri passed the stem cell research bill in November 2006. Team Gaia raises the following questions about stem cell research: How do you feel about stem cell research? Do you think it will make a difference with how the President stands on the research? How does it affect the abortion issue?

South Dakotans said no on a referendum backing the state legislature's near total ban on abortion. Here are just a few of the questions raised by the teens at Team Gaia's podcast session. What do you think about Abortion Rights? Are you Pro-life or Pro-Choice? Do you think this will make other states that have a ban or partial ban on abortion follow suit?
Vote 2006 - Minimum Wage Part 1 & 2
Voters in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Montana, Nevada and Ohio decided to raise the minimum wage. Voters in six states approved increases to the minimum wage, a typically Democratic issue. Minimum wage is $5.15. Minimum wage puts most Americans below poverty level. The teens at Team Gaia query the idea of being paid more than adults making minimum wage and a host of other ideas on this money issue.
